Holistic Impact Hub (HIH) was founded in 2020 in response to the interconnected challenges facing communities in Burundi — challenges that no single-issue program could fully address. Rather than focusing on one need in isolation, our founders believed that lasting change required a holistic approach: tackling health, education, environment, and economic opportunity together, shaped by the people who live these realities every day.
Since then, we've grown into a community-driven organization serving 3,500+ people across 12 communities, working alongside 18+ local and international partners, and training more than 600 young people — with 65% of our beneficiaries being women and girls.

Where we work
HIH operates from our hub in Bujumbura, with active programs across 12 communities in Burundi, and growing partnerships extending into the wider Great Lakes region including the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
